Ah, Love! It is such an irresistible force. Especially when it hits something as immovable as Obelix the Gaul. Poor Obelix’s superhuman body can’t resist love, especially when it’s in full bloom. When the beautiful Panacea returns to the little Gaulish village that refuses to lay down its arms on old Julius Caesar’s feet, she’s winning everyone’s hearts. Especially that of the well-fed and completely-not-obese Obelix who looks absolutely slim in his vertical stripes trousers. However, Panacea’s heart belongs to another: the brave and dashing Tragicomix. Obelix is heart-broken, which is saying something for a magic potion-emboldened heart. However, he has little time to let this go to his head, because Tragicomix is trapped in Africa, along with other Roman conscripts in his cohort. Someone needs to go to Africa and get him back. But there’s only one way to get to Africa safely: by sea. And the only ships that travel that far are Roman vessels, and the only ones who can board them are legionaries.
